CXWorks Students are Ready to Build Customer Trust


Accoriding to Forbes, a new "Customer Service Benchmark Report" states 80% of businesses believe they provide excellent customer service, but only 8% of customers agree. Many companies simply haven’t prioritized customer experience – yet. It’s an opportunity for companies to deliver great customer experience, to see more customers and greater profits. It’s a danger sign because delivering a poor customer experience translates directly to lost customers and lost profits. CXWorks is an 8 week workforce development program for young adults in the Las Vegas area who are ready to start their professional careers. Learn more below. Student canidates that are:

  • Betweeen the ages of 18-26 years old
  • A high school graduate, but do not have a 4-year degree
  • Able to commit to an 8-week program
  • Ready to start working towards a career instead of another job


Students learn career skills that include: 

  • Customer Service
  • Phone Etiquette
  • Professionalism
  • Quality Assurance
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Complaint Handling
  • Relationship Management
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Communication

The Las Vegas location has been named “Tech Impact Opportunity Center Powered by Barclays”, and is housed in the Historic Westside School. It was created in partnership with Barclays, “We have tremendous confidence in Tech Impact because it has a proven track record with graduates getting jobs and staying with them,” says Jocelyn Stewart of Barclays. “Barclays is committed to Tech Impact’s mission of preparing under-served students for better paying jobs. The program delivers real value to the Las Vegas employment market.”
