- Hillcrest Children and Family Center
- Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund
These six organizations were part of a pool of applicants that submitted project proposals that leverage technology in an innovative way. Project ideas ranged from mobile applications to CRMs, from online learning portals to computer labs.
On September 8th, a panel of judges made up of technology executives and former nonprofit winners met to review and discuss the applications. Companies represented included Accenture, CenturyLink, BAE Systems, Capital One, Amazon Web Services, and Blackboard.
The next step for these finalists will be to deliver presentations to the judges in mid-October, highlighting thier projects and the expected community impact.
The winners will be announced at our annual Celebration of Technology event at the Microsoft Innovation & Policy Center on November 10th.
