We’ve talked a lot about the importance of optimizing your organization’s website for use on mobile devices, but it’s even more critical than you probably thought.
According to a recent post from ThirdSector, about half of the people who attempt to give to a charity or nonprofit on a mobile device never actually get to the point of donation, and it’s not their fault. Many nonprofits still have websites that do not work well on mobile devices, and it’s probably costing them money.
More and more people are donating online, and a large section of that group is using mobile devices to do it. Unfortunately even more are willing to give, but the excessive amount of time it often takes to get a donation transaction to go through turns a lot of people away.
It’s very important for your organization to streamline the donation process online, check out ThirdSector’s post if you’d like to learn more about how.
