Last month, Tech Impact’s Anthony Pisapia spoke at the Nonprofit Technology Conference in a discussion focused around the growing benefits of professional networking site LinkedIn.
As reported in The Chronicle of Philanthropy, Pisapia told the session’s participants that fundraisers need to take a different approach to the social network. Nonprofits must be able to count on the people in their network, and may want to think about being more selective when accepting new contacts.
LinkedIn provides a wealth of information to nonprofits by collecting data on an endless network of potential supporters, and if used correctly it can serve as an invaluable tool for fundraising. Check out The Chronicle of Philanthropy’s article to learn more about Pisapia’s thoughts on how nonprofits can take advantage better of LinkedIn.
