Understanding Social Media Metrics

If you’re organization is like most nonprofits, you probably already use analytics to track the success of your website and your social media presence.

But for some data can be hard to measure and contextualize, and according to a recent post from Beth Kanter’s Blog, it can help to discuss your strategy with people who are attempting the same thing. When you pull data, you want to learn more about your website traffic or social media reach, or maybe the popularity of your blog content.

But once you pull that raw data, what do you do with it? Beth has been facilitating a peer learning group aimed at answering that very question. Together they go over best practices, successful methods, and useful end products, and it seems like every one learns a lot.
