If you haven't heard already, Tech Impact is hosting the inaugural Tech Forward Conference this fall. The conference will be hosted in Nashville, Tennessee from Sunday, September 17th to Tuesday, September 19th. It's going to be intimate with only 300 nonprofit attendees so that attendees can get the most out of their experience. The conference focuses on giving the nonprofit community an opportunity to engage, learn, and invision how technology can transform and enhance the impact it leaves on the public.
Who is Tech Impact?
Tech Impact is a 501c3 organization whose mission is to empower nonprofits and the community to use technology to better serve our world. We have been providing nonprofits with technology services since 2003, specializing in managed IT support, cloud implementations and data services. We believe in the power of nonprofit organizations to change the world and we partner with organizations and companies that share that belief in order to bring the best technology resources to our community. Tech Impact is headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, and has office locations in Wilmington, DE, Washington D.C., and Las Vegas, NV.
The Location
The Tech Forward Conference will be hosted at the Hutton Hotel in the West End of Nashville. The West End is a great, central location; it is very close to Downtown Nashville, making it easy for conference attendees to explore Nashville's culture. The Hutton Hotel is Nashville's only Forbes Four Star, Four Diamond property making it the perfect location for the launch of the Tech Forward Conference. The Agenda
During the three days, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of sessions focusing on: data, security & mobility, technology planning & governance, and using technology for mission. These sessions will give attendees the opportunity:
- To hear from other nonprofit leaders on how they used technology to successfully impact their community
- To hear from top technology companies and foundations about what they are looking for when funding investments in technology for nonprofits
- To learn the most useful applications of the technology that is available and affordable for all nonprofits.
The Party
After the first day of sessions, conference guests will be able to enjoy what Nashville has to offer. The Tech Forward Party is in the heart of Downtown Nashville at The Stage on Broadway. The party features mouth watering Southern cuisine, open bar, and an original Nashville fingerpicking band. Attendees will also have the opportunity to mix and mingle with other conference guests and speakers all while encountering the true Nashville experience.
