“We have one day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, November 29th, 2016, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.”
Since 2012, #GivingTuesday has inspired giving around the world, resulting in greater donations, volunteer hours, and activities that directly influence the livelihood and mission of organizations such as Tech Impact.
Why support Tech Impact?
You’re supporting an organization that serves nonprofits and communities around the world, empowering them with the tools and technology they need to thrive.
Tech Impact offers monitoring and measuring tools that give nonprofits an edge in finding volunteers, supporters, sponsors, and donors – so they can keep supporting their missions far into the future and better serve our world. With IT support for nonprofits, file and data management, social media and digital marketing support, and access to and support for important applications like Office 365, nonprofits turn to Tech Impact for technology needs they can’t otherwise obtain.
Our technology workforce development programs have made an impact on hundreds of young adults’ lives in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Nevada. The award-winning ITWorks program prepares its graduates for entry-level IT jobs by providing them with the opportunity to gain technical and professional skills, certifications, and hands-on work experience via an internship. By strengthening young people, ITWorks is creating stronger communities. Additionally, the newly launched CXWorks program is helping young adults in the Las Vegas community learn the skills they need to launch careers in call center customer service.
Tech Impact’s ITWorks and CXWorks programs are offered free of charge to our students because of the generous support of our funders and donors.
