While browsing job listings, India Petitt came across a post about the CXWorks program. She had been working as a security guard for two years and was looking for alternative career opportunities. India decided to apply to the CXWorks program, as she felt it could provide her with professional development opportunities and lead to a steady career and stability for herself and her child.
Currently in the middle of the CXWorks semester, India already has found the program to be helpful. Over eight weeks, CXWorks students are provided with such professional development opportunities as mock interviews, networking connections with industry professionals, and hands-on training with CXWorks trainers. India finds that the CXWorks staff are supportive, caring, and easy to work with.
This far into the program, she has already improved her own communication skills and is finding her own voice. Already thinking about the next step, India is looking forward to using the professional skills she’s developing in future job interviews. We can’t wait to see how India applies her skills to her future career and success.
