Design is constantly changing. Over the past decade design has evolved at a rapid pace, and new trends are helping nonprofits better connect with those they wish to serve.
As recently reported in The Chronicle of Philanthropy, a new trend referred to as “service design” is focusing not only on visual design of websites, but instead is looking to streamline processes and services to make them more efficient.
The trend goes beyond visual design and looks at how organizations interact with their own employees and those they serve. It’s about identifying problem areas and figuring out ways to solve them, whether that is a page on your website or a way you interact with volunteers or recipients of your services.
