Infographic: How Technology Increases Funding

While this NTEN eBenchmark Study is from 2012, the data continues to grow and support the future of nonprofit technology, and comparing years can lead to newly occurring trends.

  • In 2011, 35% of online revenue came from emails, however, this past year email fundraising decreased by 40%!

  • This shift is due to an increase in social fundraising--in fact, for every 1,000 email subscribers, there are currently 149 Facebook fans, 53 Twitter followers, and 29 mobile subscribers.

  • These numbers increased from 2011, which showed only 103 Facebook fans, 29 Twitter followers, and 10 mobile subscribers for every 1,000 email subscribers.
